Substantial, heavy, vintage Native American ~ probably Navajo ~ Navajo sterling silver ring with turquoise, coral and black jet channel inlay. From Albuquerque pawn shop. Good vintage condition. ca 1970-1980s.
The face of the ring measures 7/8 inbh by 5/8 inch. Weighs 20 grams. Size 10.
As is the case more often that not with the earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked for silver content or maker. Not marked sterling but has been tested to be at least coin (90%) silver. This silver ring was a pre-fab cast, not handmade, although the inlay was probably inlaid by hand.
