Gorgeous Native American handmade pendant, created by Navajo micro-inlay artist, Matthew Jack, featuring a southwest butte with a black night sky. Set in silver, the pendant is intricately inlaid with hundreds of tiny hand-cut, semi-precious stones such as jasper, coral, jet and colorful lab opal. There are many tiny sterling silver inlaid dots to represent stars, moons, planets and a comet with a double lab opal tail streaking across the night sky.
The pendant measures 1-1/2 inches long including the inlaid bale, by 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick. It weighs 8 grams. The oval inlaid bale can accommodate a necklace 3/8 inches by 1/4 inches. Shown here with a 6mm silver bead necklace (sold separately). The bale is inlaid with sterling silver stars.
