Two-inch long vintage silver ring with two turquoise stones. The turquoise looks like Seafoam Turquoise. The term Seafoam Turquoise does not refer to a specific mine or location where certain turquoise is found, but rather the characteristics of the turquoise, similar to the bubbling foam at the seaside, so it is a bumpy turquoise in seafoam color. The stones are accented with silver leaves and stamped beads.
The face of the ring measures almost 2 inch by 1 inch. Weighs 9.7 grams. Size 6. The ring is not hallmarked but tests positive for coin silver (.900/90%) or sterling silver (.925/92.5%). Excellent vintage condition. From a local New Mexico antique store. Although I can not attribute this ring to any specific Native American artist, I feel confident that it was Native American made.
