This beautiful Native American carved turquoise heart sterling silver pendant was handmade by Navajo silversmith, Geneva Apachito. The pendant has a beautiful natural Kingman turquoise stone, which has been carved into the shape of a heart. The heart is surrounded by 16 matching oval turquoise cabs.
The pendant measures 3 inches long from the top of the bale by 2-1/8 inch wide and weighs about 39.2 grams. The bale has a usable opening interior of 5/8 inch. The pendant is hung on a 3-strand 19-inch silver & turquoise bead necklace. The stabilized turquoise beads in the necklace match the turquoise pendant. The silver beads are machine-made bench beads and fluted beads, hand soldered, finished and strung by Navajo Marilyn Platero with an oxidized or antiqued brushed satin finish that gives them a subdued, rich tone. Looks great alone, layered or with this pendant or a pendant of your choice.
Optional matching earrings by Marilyn Platero are also available for an additional $69.00
Brand new in perfect condition. The pendant is stamped sterling and has Geneva Apachito's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included. Geneva was born in 1969 in Soccoro, New Mexico. She was taught silver work by her mother Genevieve Apachito. The beads and earrings were made by Marilyn Platero.
