Santo Domingo handmade 20-inch long black jet heishi and silver barrel necklace created by James & Doris Coriz. Largest beads are about 12mm at the center. The necklace has black jet spacers in the center (bottom) 2 inches of the necklace to create a smooth loop. The necklace is 20 inches long and finished off with silver cones, silver beads and a hook & eye.
There are two stamped silver barrel beads (5/8 inch long) on either side of the necklace. The Coriz's hallmark is also stamped on these beads.

James and Doris Coriz make jewelry in the traditional Santo Domingo way. They each learned the art of jewelry making from their parents and have taught it to their children.
