Fabulous Zuni Shalako Kachina bracelet with matching ring, fashioned with a dark background and shells, coral, jet, and turquoise stones set in a raised mosaic inlay style. Measures 2-1/8 wide with an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-5/8 plus a 1-1/4 slightly adjustable gap. Item# 5127

Up for you consideration is this fantastic sterling silver raised mosaic inlay Shalalo kachina bracelet and matching ring. Bev Etsate is one of the premier raised inlay artists working today and her creations are considered museum quality. She has a very distinct style. The kachina figure is inlaid with Sleeping Beauty turquoise, coral, Mother of Pearl and jet on a black jet background. The bracelet is framed with sterling silver twist wire and sterling silver raindrop beads.

The bracelet measures 2-1/8 wide with an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-5/8 plus a 1-1/4 carefully adjustable gap and weighs 40 grams.

The face of the matching ring measures 1-3/8 long by 1 wide. It weighs 10.5 grams and is a size 8-1/4. The bracelet can be purchased without the ring if necessary.

Bev Etsate has been making jewelry for 30 years. She began helping her parents, Zuni jewelers Rosalie and Augustine Pinto. Known for her raised mosaic inlay, Beverly Etsate specializes in representations of mudheads and kachinas. The Shalako performs annually each December and draws spectators from all over the world. If you have ever seen the Shalako it is a very impressive Kachina that towers over the other dancers.
