This magnificent Native American hand made sterling silver Pilot Mountain turquoise and coral bracelet was created by Navajo silversmith Kirk Smith. Kirk made distinctive old pawn style jewelry that's among the most sought-after Native American jewelry in the southwest.

This bracelet is absolutely breath-taking! It has three large genuine Pilot Mountain turquoise stones set in handmade bezels surrounded with twisted silver wire, genuine Mediterranean coral cabs and sterling silver raindrop beads. The Pilot Mountain turquoise stones are a bright greenish blue turquoise color with swirling shades of honey-brown matrix and they are perfectly smooth (no pitting). The center stone measures 1-1/8 long by 5/8 wide.

The stones are set on a five carinated wire shank cuff with an old pawn finish - the old pawn finish that Kirk Smith is known for. The bracelet measures 1-7/8 wide at the front narrowing to a bit over 5/8 wide at the terminals. It has an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-1/2 plus a non-adjustable opening gap of 1-1/4. My wrist is 6 around and the bracelet is loose on me, but wearable. The bracelet weighs slightly over 113 grams.

Brand new in perfect condition. Stamped sterling and has Kirk Smith's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included.

Kirk Smith was one of the best Navajo silversmiths in recent times. His work was always top quality and he used only the best stones and materials. Kirk Smith died in an unfortunate tragedy September 17, 2012. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and Native American Indian jewelry collectors and traders everywhere.

We have a dwindling selection of Kirk's bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants available. And once they are gone, they're gone! With the recent price increases in both turquoise and sterling silver in the last few years, Kirk's beautiful pieces are an excellent investment not only in terms of their high quality turquoise and precious metal but because of the acclaimed artist who created them. Don't miss your chance to add some of his fine jewelry to your Native American Indian jewelry collection.
