Contemporary multi-gem inlaid ring featuring a jasper inlaid desert scene with a starry night background. The black night sky has been inlaid with small dots of sterling silver, which look like stars, and a sparkling lab opal comet streaking across the sky.
Intricate stone to stone inlay. The face of the ring measures 2-1/4 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. The inlay is framed with a twisted silver rope and a carved silver setting. Weighs 15 grams. Size 7.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. The ring is a collaborative effort between two Navajo artists. The silver work was done by Navajo artist and the inlay work was done by Navajo Matthew Jack, son of Ray Jack. Matthew (photo below) is one of the best young Navajo inlay artists working in the Gallup area today. His jewelry is imaginatively designed and extremely well made.
