Fabulous sterling silver turquoise maiden pendant from well-known Navajo artist Alex Sanchez, set with a natural Kingman turquoise stone. The maiden is wearing a Navajo Pearl necklace with a Naja. She is decorated with applied silver petroglyphs, such as dragonflies symbolizing beauty, a healing hand, a bear for protection, and spirals for life's journey. The back of the pendant is hand-stamped with an array of stylized bears.

The maiden measures 3-5/8 inches long by 1-1/4 inches wide. The pendant has a total overall length of 4-3/4 inches including the bale and it weighs 57.5 grams. The oversized bale can handle beads up to 5/8 inch wide.

Brand new in perfect condition. Stamped with Alex Sanchez's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.

Alex Sanchez is a well-known talented silversmith, born in 1969, and is of Navajo and Zuni descent. He was born in Gallup, NM and lives there today. He is the younger brother of Myron Panteah and Brad Panteah. He's the winner of many awards for his innovative one of a kind designs and his work has caught the attention of collectors everywhere.
