This stunning one-of-a-kind sterling silver and turquoise heart pendant was created by Navajo artist Alex Sanchez, in his petroglyph style - heavy, textured, oxidized sterling silver decorated with all kinds of applied silver symbols: dragonfly, bear, healing hand, sunface, spirals, etc. The spiral symbolizes life's journey, the dragonflies are for beauty, the bear for protection. The reverse side of the big pendant is stamped with also. The pendant is set with a natural Kingman turquoise stone.
The heart measure 2-3/8 inches by 2-3/8 inches. Including the bale, the pendant is 3-1/4 inches long and weigh 49.7 grams (over 1-3/4 ounces). The bale has a usable interior of 1/2 inch. The pendant is pictured here with 10 mm silver beads.
Brand new in perfect condition. Ignore the reflections that can be seen in the highly polished sterling silver. Stamped sterling and has Alex Sanchez's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included. Purchased directly from the artist.
