This vintage Zuni owl pin features an inlaid owl with a spotted jasper or cowry shell body, turquoise, jet and Mother of Pearl. Measures 1 1-/2 inch tall by 3/4 inch wide and weighs 4.1 grams. As is the case more often that not with earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked for silver content or maker. However, the pendant test positive as coin silver (.900/90%) or sterling silver (.925/92.5%). Excellent vintage condition. circa 1970-80s.
