Contemporary multi-gem inlaid ring featuring a jasper inlaid desert scene with a starry night background. The black night sky has been inlaid with small dots of sterling silver, which look like stars, and a sparkling lab opal comet streaking across the sky.
Intricate stone to stone inlay. The face of the ring measures 2-1/4 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. The inlay is framed with a twisted silver rope and a carved silver setting. Weighs 16 grams. Size 10-3/4.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. The ring is a collaborative effort between two Navajo artists. The silver work was done by Navajo artist and the inlay work was done by Navajo Matthew Jack, son of Ray Jack. Matthew (photo below) is one of the best young Navajo inlay artists working in the Gallup area today. His jewelry is imaginatively designed and extremely well made.
Here is what two happy customers said about Matthew's work: Hi Libby! I wanted to let you know that my mom and I both received our fabulous jewelry and we’re so appreciative of all your work to make sure we are thrilled with our choices, which we are! Of course the pieces are always that much more impressive in person, I can’t stop starring at my exquisite pendant with its magical starry night sky... finely detailed and lovely. It is truly a masterpiece. I attached a photo that my mom sent to me, wearing her beautiful new Mathew Jack ring. We can’t thank you enough for everything Libby. My mom, dad and I all wish you and your family health... and prosperity for your business. We hope that normalcy soon returns to your part of the country and to the Navajo people there. Much gratitude, " J.
