Up for your consideration is this fabulous Native American hand made sterling silver Kingman turquoise bow tie squash blossom necklace. The necklace was created by the ever popular Navajo silversmiths Everett & Mary Teller, using natural Kingman turquoise teardrop shaped cut stones. The corrugated sterling silver beads were hand made by the artists. The necklace is a replica of the old bow tie squash blossoms that were made back in the 1930-1950's. Only it's made of 18 gauge sterling silver, which is thick compared to the old bow tie necklaces.

Please look at the back of the necklace. The artists added tubes for stringing, which prevents pulling or snagging of the necklace against sweaters or knitted clothes. The necklace drapes beautifully when worn.

The sterling silver corrugated bead necklace is double stranded with 14 hand made stamped bow ties (7 on each side), and a large naja, featuring five natural Kingman turquoise stones. The bows have elaborate hand-stamped designs and twisted silver rope accents on each side. The necklace fastens with two custom made stamped sterling silver hooks, allowing you to use an extender if you want or need to. Strung on soft flex wire, 40 lb strength.

    * 26 inches long from end to end.

    * 15 inch hang from the back of the neck to the bottom of the naja.

    * Naja: 3 inches tall by 2-1/4 inches wide.

    * Bow ties: 1-1/4 inch long

    * Weight: 180 grams approx.

Brand new and in perfect condition. Hallmarked EMT inside a stylized fish, as shown. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included.
