This colorful multigem inlaid sterling silver pendant was handmade by Navajo artist, Jim Harrison. The pendant features a desert landscape scene and is impeccably inlaid with an array of stones: turquoise, lapis, phophosiderite, spiny oyster and more. There are sterling silver dots representing stars accenting the night sky. And there is a lab opal comet streaking across the sky. Measures 2-1/2 inch long including the bail by 7/8 inch wide. The oversize bale can accommodate beads or a chain up to 3/8 inch wide.
Yei gods, midnight galaxy constellations and Navajo landscapes inspire Jim Harrison's award winning jewelry designs. The work of Jimmie Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. There are few working silversmiths capable of this level of stone to stone Inlay Jewelry.
