We are very happy to have obtained a new collection of jewelry hand made by renown Navajo artist, Jim Harrison. This high-quality contemporary multigem inlaid sterling silver buckle is a new design of Jim's. It is a Mother Earth design, and he also made a Father Sky design buckle, which we also have for sale. The buckle is inlaid with Sleeping Beauty turquoise and a multitude of other stones & shells. The pink is rhodinite from Russia. The purple or lavender is phophosiderite from Peru. The darker purple is sugilite. The lime green is varisite from Utah. The vivid green is Maw Sit Sit from Miramar or southeastern Asia and the other green with small stripes is malachite. The clear red is coral and the other red is spiny oysters.

The buckle measures 3 inches by 2 inches. Fits a belt up to 1-3/8 inches wide. A new black leather Tony Lama belt is included with your purchase. Size 38 or 40.

Winner of numerous awards ranging from the Santa Fe Indian Market, Navajo Nation Fair, Museum of Northern Arizona and the New Mexico State Fair, Jimmie Harrison is renowned for the creation of complex and intricate inlay jewelry. His work often depicts the night sky, Yeibechai figures and desert landscapes. Each piece is unique and highly collectible. Jim was mentored by the famous master silver and gold smiths, Preston and Jesse Monongye. Harrison uses a mix of jewelry designs that are his own creations as he depicts New Mexico skies, landscapes, spiritual beings, native symbolism, red rocks and mesas.
