I am pleased to say we have a wonderful new selection of inlay jewelry by Navajo artist Jim Harrison. Practically no one does inlay better than Jim Harrison! This outstanding multigem inlaid sterling silver bolo, handmade and purchased directly from Jim Harrison, is a Father Sky design with the four sacred mountains of the Navajo Dine. Jim also made a Mother Earth design bolo, which is also for sale on our website. The bolo is impeccably inlaid with an array of stones: turquoise, coral, lapis, sugilite, spiny oyster, black jet, MOP and more.
The Bolo measures 3-1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide. The sterling silver bolo tips were also hand made and measure 2 inches long. The top quality leather bolo cord measures 44 inches end-to-end, and the portion that goes around your neck is flat for comfort.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Hallmarked by and purchased directly from the artist. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included with your purchase.
The work of Jimmie Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. There are few working silversmiths capable of this level of stone to stone inlay jewelry. Jimmie is renowned for the creation of complex and intricate inlay jewelry. His work often depicts the night sky, Yeibechai figures and desert landscapes. Each piece is unique and highly collectible. Jimmie was mentored by the famous master silver and gold smiths, Preston and Jesse Monongye. This is a top quality Navajo bolo that you will treasure for a long time!
Matching buckles are available with a Mother Earth design and a Father Sky design.
