Contemporary multi-gem inlaid ring featuring a starry night sky design. The black night sky has been inlaid with lab opal and small dots of sterling silver, which look like stars, moons and planets. There are also sparkling lab opal comets streaking across the sky.
Incredible stone to stone inlay. The face of the ring measures 1-1/2 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. The inlay is framed with a twisted silver rope and a carved silver setting. Sturdy 3-way split shank. Weight 13.8 grams. Size 8.

Matthew is one of the best young Navajo inlay artists working in the Gallup area today. His jewelry is imaginatively designed and extremely well made. I have included his photo below.
