Old-style Turquoise and Sterling Silver ring created by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. The ring features a lovely Kingman turquoise stone; the color is a deep teal with subtle reddish-brown matrix. The stone is set in a simple straight bezel with a twist rope surrounding it. Silver beads are placed at placed ends.
The face of the ring measures a bit over 1-3/4 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. The ring weighs 10.8 grams and is a size 9. Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Robert Shakey's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
Robert Shakey is a Navajo artist who lives in Gallup, NM and is around 55 years old. A lot of his work is casted, but he also does handmade work. This ring is one of his handmade pieces.
