Old-style Turquoise and Sterling Silver ring created by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. The ring features a lovely turquoise stone with subtle matrix. The stone is set in a simple straight bezel with a twist rope surrounding it. The setting is a fancy scalloped setting and the wide 3-way split ring shank is covered with engraved geometric designs across the back.
The face of the ring measures a bit over 1-3/8 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. The ring weighs 10.3 grams and is a size 7 (tight). Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Robert Shakey's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
Robert Shakey is a Navajo artist who lives in Gallup, NM and is around 55 years old. A lot of his work is casted, but he also does handmade work. This piece is all handmade by Robert.
