Old-style Turquoise and Sterling Silver ring created by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. The ring features a lovely turquoise stone with subtle matrix. The stone is set in a simple straight bezel with a twist rope surrounding it. The setting is a fancy scalloped setting and the wide 3-way split ring shank is covered with engraved geometric designs across the back.
The face of the ring measures a bit over 1-3/8 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. The ring weighs 10.3 grams and is a size 6-1/2. Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Robert Shakey's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
Robert Shakey is a Navajo artist who lives in Gallup, NM and is around 55 years old. Most of his work is casted, but he also does handmade work. This piece is all handmade by Robert.
