This contemporary multi-gem inlaid starry night double sided pendant was created by Navajo artist & silversmith, Matthew Jack. The pendant is inlaid with a multitude of semi-precious stones. The pendant is reversible with two different designs on each side. One side has a Yei'bi'chei (Navajo holy spirit) scene with a Yei face and fan that is meant to represent good fortune. The black night sky is inlaid with small dots of sterling silver, which look like stars. The other side is an abstract arrow design with a gorgeous malachite background.
The round pendant measures 1-5/8 inch diameter and it is 2-3/4 inch total length including the oversized bale. The pendant weighs 31.8 grams and it is 3/8 inch thick. The bale can handle beads or a chain over 5/8 inch wide. It is pictured here with 8mm silver beads (sold separately).
Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Created by Navajo inlay artist Matthew Jack.
