Substantial, heavy, vintage Native American ~ probably Navajo ~ Navajo sterling silver ring with turquoise and Mother of Pearl channel inlay. From Albuquerque pawn shop. Good vintage condition. ca 1970-1980s.
The face of the ring measures 7/8 inbh by 5/8 inch. Weighs 21 grams. Size 10-1/4.
As is the case more often that not with the earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked for silver content or maker. Not marked sterling but has been tested to be at least coin (90%) silver. This ring was cast, not handmade, although the inlay was probably inlaid by hand.
