This impressive traditional Native American turquoise cluster sterling silver ring is brand new and was entirely hand made by world famous Navajo silversmith Ernest Roy Begay. The ring is set with 13 natural high grade Kingman turquoise stones, that are a bright sky-blue in color with very little matrix. The old style ring features a single piece of high grade Kingman Turquoise from Arizona encircled by 12 smaller oval pieces of the same turquoise.
The face of the ring measures 1-3/4 inch long by 1-1/2 inch wide. The ring weighs 25.5 grams and is a very comfortable ring to wear, because of the wide band. Size 6-1/2.

Navajo artist Ernest R. Begay Sr. was born in 1956. In 1975-76, Ernest took a silversmithing class at Monument Valley High School. Ernest entered some unusual pieces into the Navajo Nation Fair and the Gallup Intertribal Indian Ceremonial, where he received many awards and ribbons. He is known for his coral and turquoise cluster work on heavy gauge silver with deep custom-designed stamp work. This high-quality ring will will give you many years of pleasurable wear.
