Here's something new for your Native American Indian jewelry collection - a Lady Bug fetish ring. The sterling silver ring was created by Navajo silversmith Ben Begaye. The lady bud carving was made by an unnamed Zuni artist. However, my guess is that the lady bug was created by Zuni carver Georgette Quam, who is known for her ladybug carvings. I have some of her ladybug earrings and they look very similar. (see item 7175, sold separately, last picture). The ladybug is carved from apple coral and black jet and has turquoise eyes.

The ladybug measures 1 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. The heavy sterling silver ring band is almost 1/2 inch wide, which will keep the ring from twisting around on your finger. The ring weighs 19 grams. Size 8.

Brand new and in perfect condition! Hallmarked BEN BEGAYE. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included with your purchase.
