This sturdy vintage Native American sterling silver turquoise ring is set with a beautiful triangle shaped turquoise stone. Three way split shank with silver raindrop deads and twisted silver rope setting. The face of the ring is 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch and the ring weighs 4.3 grams. The stone is cracked near one of the corners, as can be seen in the photos, but the stone is secure and not in any danger of falling out. Looks like the ring was re-sized too. But I love the shape and style of this ring!
The ring came out of the old Covered Wagon Indian Trading Post, from a collection of jewelry belonging to the estate of the previous owners of this Trading Post, Ann and Manny Goodman. The trading post is still located in Old Town Albuquerque on the plaza, but under much different ownership.
