This magnificent sterling silver and coral heart pendant was created by Navajo artist Alex Sanchez, in his petroglyph style - heavy, textured, oxidized sterling silver decorated with all kinds of applied silver symbols: dragonflies, a bear, healing hand, spirals, etc. The spiral symbolizes life's journey, the dragonflies are for beauty, the bear for protection. The reverse side of the big pendant is stamped with a series of hearts.
The heart measure 2-3/8 inches by 2-3/8 inches. Including the bale, the pendant is 3-1/4 inches long and weigh 46.6 grams. The bale has a usable interior of 1/2 inch. The pendant is pictured here with 10 mm silver beads.
Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Alex Sanchez's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included. Purchased directly from the artist.
