These contemporary Santo Domingo inlaid mosaic earrings were created by Rudy & Mary Coriz from genuine turquoise, pipe-stone, serpentine, black jet and other semi-precious stones and shells. The earrings measure 1 inch long not including the earwires by 3/4 inch wide and weigh about 4 grams each. Sterling silver ear-wires. The colorful inlay is impeccable.
The Coriz family uses stabilized stone, NOT BLOCK, which means it will not change color. No colors or dyes were added. Stabilization make the stones easier to cut and work with.
