These vintage Mexican 900 silver earrings are set with what appear to be green stones, maybe turquoises, but I am not completely sure. The earrings were found in a collection of mostly Native American turquoise and silver jewelry.
The earrings are marked "HECHO EN MEXICO DF 900" encircling the initials "MFR". The 900 indicates the silver content of 90% - which is the same as what is commonly called Coin Silver here in the United States. I have researched the MFR hallmark but I have not found any information about it.
The earrings measure 1-1/4 inches long and weigh 5.1 grams each. They are screw-back earrings. Excellent condition.
