Stamped EDG for Eugene Gruber. Official Hobbyist of the USMC; License number 17315. Eugene Gruber is a Native American silversmith from Grants, NM. He started making jewelry when he was 13. He learned silversmthing from his family. His uncle is Thomas Charley and his cousin is Colton Charley. His designs are a mix of the old traditional style and his own style and designs. Each piece he makes is totally hand made by him. He cuts and shapes his own stones from the rough. He also shapes and cuts the silver by hand - that way it is truly hand made without having a machine do it for him. When he finishes a jewelry piece he always says "Live in Harmony and Walk in Beauty" wishing that whoever buys it will do so.
