Here's a unique pair of handmade sterling silver earrings, created by Navajo silversmiths, Thomas & Colton Charley. This beautiful sterling silver design was first created by Thomas Charley. His son Colton came up with this design for these earrings. The earrings feature rows of domed silver bars accented by twisted silver rope. By constructing it in this manner the jewelry is much, much lighter weight (and more comfortable) than if it were of a solid casting style.
The earrings measure 1-7/8 inches long and 1-1/8 inch wide and weigh about 9 grams each. Big comfort backs help to support the earrings and keep them from drooping.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked TC and purchased directly from the artist's son, Colton Charley, who works along side his father.
Many artists are copying his style, but Thomas Charley is the originator of this unique contemporary style. Thomas Charley was born in 1952 into the Navajo Reservation and he has been creating jewelry since 1977.
