Native American sterling silver pin/pendant featuring a healing hand, created by Navajo silversmith, Allison Manuelito. There is a small turquoise stone set in the center of the hand with a spiral. The Healer's Hand, also known as the Shaman's Hand, is an ancient symbol of healing and protection. The image consists of a hand with a spiral palm and it is believed to have come from the Native American petroglyphs that have been found in a number of places in the south-western part of the United States. Please ignore the reflections of the camera that can be seen in the highly polished sterling silver.
The hand measures 1-1/2 inch long by 1 inch wide and weighs 11 grams. There is a pin fastener on the back of the piece AND a loop that can be used with a chain so the piece can be used as a pendant.
