This vintage Native American handmade sterling silver turquoise ring was recently obtained from a private collection of old southwestern Native American jewelry. The ring features a 5/8 inch wide flower with stamped designs on each petal an a small turquoise stone set in the center. I am not sure whether the turquoise is a stone or a bead, but it looks like a stone.
As is the case more often that not with earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked for silver content. However, it tests positive as coin silver or better. The ring is from the family estate of Manny Goodman - one-time owner of the old Covered Wagon Trading Post in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. circa 1970's. Size 6. Excellent condition.
