Vintage Native American silver ring with 2 inlaid turquoise diamonds set in shadowbox-like sections on an oxidized plaque. The face of the ring measures 1-5/8 inch by 3/8 inch wide. Size 7 available. Excellent vintage condition. Weighs about 6.5 grams.
Unmarked as to silver content, as is common for Native American jewelry from this time period, however the silver tests positive as coin silver or better. Unknown artisan. circa 1970's.
The ring is from the family estate of Manny Goodman - one-time owner of the old Covered Wagon Trading Post in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. Goodman was 91 when he closed the business in 1998. He died in 2004.
