Fabulous Navajo hand made black obsidian bead necklace. Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. This beautiful necklace features polished beads made from obsidian, spiny oyster shell, turquoise, lapis and other stone/shell beads to create the complete necklace. All natural stones.

The beads are about 1/4 inch in diameter and the necklace measures 19-1/2 inches long, end-to-end. Handmade hammered sterling silver hook and eye. Looks great with one of the many Everett & Mary Teller pendants we have in stock, sold separately.

Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Purchased directly from the artists.
