I am so excited to offer you this fabulous, museum-quality, hammered silver overlay and sterling silver bead necklace with natural stones, handmade by Native American Navajo silversmiths Everett & Mary Teller. This necklace is one of the Tellers" original designs. There are five tabs, each set with a different natural stone: Kingman turquoise (center tab), Mediterranean coral, Lapis Lazuli, purple spiny oyster and orange spiny oyster. Each tab is 1-5/8 inches long x 1 inches wide. The sterling silver beads are a mix of smooth beads and fluted beads about 3/8 inch in diameter. All stones are natural and in perfect condition with no chips or cracks.

The necklace measures 18 inches long, end to end. I think it is the perfect length - not too tight around your neck, yet short enough to sit above most necklines.

Earrings: I asked the Tellers to make some earrings to match this necklace and they made two pair - one pair with purple spiny oyster shell and one pair with orange spiny oyster shell. The earrings have the same shape as the tabs on the necklace but they are slightly smaller - the earrings measure 1-1/2 inch long by 7/8 inch wide and weigh 5 grams each. The design of the earrings echo the necklace without being identical. And the teardrop spiny oyster shells match the shells on either end of the necklace. The earrings cost $180.00 per pair. If you buy both pair, you receive a bit of a discount AND you could wear one orange earring on your right ear to match the orange tab on far right side of the necklace and one purple earring on your left ear to match the purple tab on the far left side of the necklace! This is not your average necklace and earring set!!

Please note: the tabs are intentionally not flat but slightly coved, with a hammered silver piece cut-out and bonded to a second sheet of silver and then the stone is set in the center.

One of a kind Navajo handmade necklace and earring set, created by two of the Navajo jewelry world's premier artists.

Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by and purchased directly from the artists. All of their pieces are signed with their initials EMT encased with a fish symbolizing their Christian faith.
