This traditional turquoise snake eye Zuni handcrafted sterling silver ring was created by master artist Peter Haloo III. Peter has been creating this snake eye jewelry since 1965 and he is quite elderly now. His wife Vivian, who used to make jewelry with him, has passed away. His work is not as precise as it used to be, but he is still actively making his snake eye jewelry and this is your opportunity to get one of his rings.
This ring features twenty-five (25) individually bezel set genuine turquoise snake-eyes (5 rows of 5 stones each). The front of the ring measures about 3/4 inch tall by over 5/8 inch wide approximately. There is a rope design down each side of the ring and silver beads between every stone. Imagine the incredible amount of work that goes into making one of these rings! Only the Zuni have mastered working with such small stones. The stones are all perfectly matched sky blue colors.
This ring was made by the Zuni artist Peter Haloo III. The Haloo family are the masters of this style jewelry.
The ring is brand new and in perfect condition. All stones are secure in their settings. No chipped or cracked stones. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included. Weighs approx 8.5 grams. Size 6-1/2. Hallmarked Peter III Haloo Zuni with an engraver. I am told this is the hallmark he is using now that his wife Vivian died.
We have a fine selection of Haloo family snake eye jewelry, such as cuff bracelets, link bracelets and more rings with different number of stones.
