Native American handcrafted turquoise and sterling silver earrings created by Navajo artist Kathy Yazzie. Set with two natural Sierra Nevada turquoise stones. The stones are a robin's egg blue with very little matrix.

The earrings measure a bit over 1 inch long, not counting the silver ear-wires by 5/8 inch wide. Each earring weighs 4 grams. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist.

Kathy Yazzie is from the Navajo reservation near Gallup, New Mexico and she learned to make silver jewelry from her parents. She worked in Gallup at a number of trading posts before moving to Albuquerque to work with a silver manufacturing company designing and making her traditional styles. Traditional styles are her favorite type of jewelry to make. She usually starts with the stone and designs the jewelry around it to show the stone to its best advantage. I hope you will enjoy her unique creations!
