White Buffalo is a white stone with black inclusions. It's sometimes called "white turquoise" but it is not turquoise. The black matrix is called Chert, the Chert often runs in various patterns throughout the white material. Occasionally you will find it in a spiderwebbing pattern which is rare and more valuable. White Buffalo comes from only one mine in Nevada, near Tonopah, which is owned by the Otteson family.
