These vintage Mexican 900 silver earrings are set with what appear to be turquoise stones, but I am not completely sure. The earrings were found in a collection of mostly Native American turquoise and silver jewelry.
The earrings are marked "HECHO EN MEXICO DF 900" encircling the initials "MFR". The 900 indicates the silver content of 90% - which is the same as what is commonly called Coin Silver here in the United States.) I have researched the MFR hallmark but I have not found any information about it.
The earrings measure 1-5/8 inches long and weigh 7.2 grams each. They are screw-back earrings. Excellent condition, but in need of a polish.
