Top quality old-style Turquoise and Sterling Silver pendant hand made by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. The pendant features a gorgeous Kingman turquoise stone, which is a gorgeous blue-green color with sandy brown host rock. The stone is set in a simple straight bezel with a twist rope surrounding it. The setting is a fancy scalloped setting with a satin old pawn finish.
The pendant measures 2-1/2 inch long not counting the wide silver bale by 1-3/4 inches wide. The big bale can handle a necklace up to 1/2 inch. It weighs 28 grams. Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Robert Shakey's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
Robert Shakey is a Navajo man who lives in Gallup, NM and is around 55 years old. Most of his work is casted, meaning he makes samples that are then cast out. But he also does handmade work. This piece is one of Robert's handmade peices.
