Classic vintage Native American ~Zuni~ handmade inlaid ring. Inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet, white shell & a pale brown shell. The face of the ring measures 1-3/8 inch tall. Size 6-1/4.
The ring is unmarked and unsigned, which is typical of Native American jewelry from this time period, but the silver tests positive positive as coin silver (.900/90%) or or sterling silver (.925/92.5%). Excellent vintage condition. circa 1970's.
I have seen similar rings describing it as akoyemshi kachina or mudhead kachina.
