Vintage Native American silver ring with 8 turquoise stones set in serrated bezels on a large oxidized plaque. Two stone are set in each shadowbox. The face of the ring measures 1-1/2 by 7/8 and curves slightly to lay nicely against your finger. Size 7-1/2. Excellent vintage condition. Weighs 7.2 grams.
Unmarked as to silver content, as is common for Native American jewelry from this time period, however the silver tests positive as coin silver or better. Unknown artisan. circa 1970's. The ring is from the family estate of Manny Goodman - one-time owner of the old Covered Wagon Trading Post in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico.
