  *** SOLD ***

Up for your consideration is this wonderful old dead pawn vintage Native American handcrafted silver and natural turquoise squash blossom necklace, retrieved from one of our favorite Gallup, New Mexico pawn shops.

The necklace is double stranded with handmade silver beads, 10 hand made stylized blossoms (five on each side), and a large 3-stone naja. Applied silver leaves are set next to each stone. The heavy weight necklace is unmarked and unsigned, but it tests positive for coin silver or better.

The beads are strung on a silver foxtail chain, which has loosened up/stretched with age, which could be tightened up if you desire it, but we didn't want to alter the necklace from it's original state. We will leave this up to the new owner, unless you want us to take care of this.

* 29 long from end to end
* 17-1/2 hang from the back of the neck to the bottom of the naja
* Naja: 3-1/8 wide by 3-1/8 tall
* Blossoms: 2 long by 1 wide

The exact age of this necklace is uncertain, but we know it is an older piece. Genuine dead pawn from a Gallup New Mexico pawn shop which deals only with the local Native Americans. The turquoise has mellowed and changed color with age. The necklace could also use a good polish, but we will leave that up to you, unless you want us to polish it.
