Here's a pair of vintage Native American handmade silver earrings, inlaid with turquoise and jet. The earrings measure a bit less than 7/8 wide. These earrings are screw-backs, for non-pierced ears and each earring weighs 4.3 grams.
As is the case more often that not with the earlier Native American jewelry, the earrings are not marked for silver content or maker. However, I guarantee that they are coin silver (.900/90%) or sterling silver (.925/92.5%).
There is a scratch on the surface of one of the black jet sections but it can only be seen close up. It isn't noticeable when you wear them.
