This old carved turquoise leaf was found in with a collection of Native American Indian jewelry from the 1970's. The turquoise is carved on both sides. I don't have any further information on the piece. An Acetone test shows the turquoise has not been dyed. Since I don't know much about this piece, I am selling it for a fairly low price, you may be getting a fantastic bargain...let me know what you think!
The leaf measures 2-3/4 inch long by 1-1/4 inch wide and weighs 17.7 grams. There is a tiny hole that has been drilled in the top of the leaf stem, apparently for stringing. Excellent vintage condition.
