This contemporary Santo Domingo hand made feather necklace & earring set features two strands of graduated genuine turquoise heishi with seven inlaid mosaic feathers at the center. The necklace was created by Rudy & Mary Coriz from natural semi-precious stones & shells - apple coral, turquoise, pipestone, butterscotch serpentine, yellow serpentine, black jet & more.

The necklace measures about 27 around, not counting the feathers and 14-1/2 long from the back of the neck to the bottom of the feathers. The feathers are about 2-1/8 long. The artists call this an Eagle Tail Necklace. This necklace is a masterpiece of inlay work and handmade heishi beads. Please note: natural matrix spots exists in the stones and are not cracks or chips.

The necklace is accompanied by matching hand made mosaic inlaid feather earrings. The earrings measure 2-1/8 long, not counting the earwires.

About the artists: Mary and Rudy Coriz are a husband and wife jewelry team from Santo Domingo Pueblo. They make their heishi and inlaid jewelry in the traditional way. Their jewelry features a wide variety of stones arranged in interesting designs and color patterns. They are most well known for their colorful inlaid feather jewelry
