This bracelet was made by Navajo artist Sammy Smith, who is one of the top micro-inlayers in Gallup, New Mexico. Semiprecious stones, including turquoise, mother of pearl, apple coral, gaspeite, rhodonite and small dots of sterling silver are meticulously inlaid on a background of Acoma jet black.
There are 6 raised inlaid links joined with handmade sterling silver hinges. The links are approximately 1 long and over 1/8 deep. The bracelet measures 1/2 wide and approximately 7-3/8 around (when closed). The bracelet is for a medium-sized ladies wrist. For reference, my wrist (shown in the last photo) is 6 around. There's a lock and a sterling silver safety chain.
Brand new and in perfect condition. The outstanding colorful inlay is superb! Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist.
