This old pawn style Sterling Silver & Turquoise belt buckle was created by well-known Navajo artist Tsosie Orville White. The buckle is covered with complex, deep, hand stamped designs. The buckle is set with a genuine natural Kingman turquoise stone. The gorgeous Kingman turquoise stone is a bright blue turquoise color with dark and light colored matrix. It is securely set in a deep gallery bezel.
The buckle measures 2-1/2 long by 2 high and will fit a belt width of up to 1-1/4 inch wide. The buckle weighs 50.8 grams. Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Tsosie Orville White's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
Orville White is from Arizona and began making jewelry in the late 1980's. He was inspired to try silversmithing by his wife's family.
