Native American handcrafted turquoise and silver pendant set with a big natural King's Manassa Turquoise stone from Colorado. The free-form blue-green Manassa turquoise stone with golden matrices is set in a straight bezel and accented with a carved silver border.

The pendant is 1-1/2 long by 1-1/8 wide and weighs 17 grams. A nice 18-inch sterling silver chain as shown is also included with your purchase. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked Arkie Nelson by the artist.

The King Manassa site was originally mined by Ancestral Pueblo peoples and later rediscovered in 1890 by gold prospector L.P. King. His descendents still work the claim. King's Manassa turquoise is best known for its brilliant greens and golden matrices, but blue and blue-green turquoise was found amid these deposits as well. (From Turquoise Unearthed pg 56.)
