Native American handmade turquoise and silver ring, by Navajo artist Martha Willeto. Set with natural Gold Acres from Lander County, Nevada. There is an embossed design on the adjustable band.

The face of the ring is 1-1/8 tall by 3/4 wide and the ring weighs 11.3 grams. The ring can adjust from a size 7 to 92. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked MW by the artist.

Gold Acres was one of the more recent mining camps to become prominent in Lander County. The Gold Acres Mine was discovered in 1936, and closed in 1961, when operations folded and Gold Acres was abandoned. This stone was from a garage stash belonging to the Mauzy family (a well known turquoise mining family).
